Our comprehensive expertise in site development includes grading, excavating and paving; storm drains, water and sewer lines; soil stabilization; site and structural concrete, bridge construction and more. Lagoon Valley

Project Overview

GCC is the general contractor on a multi-phase development project adjacent to Lagoon Valley Park. The project encompasses 1,015 homes in multiple villages, a business center, fire station, 18-hole golf course and event center, a farm with gardens and open space. We’re performing total site preparation, including grading, excavating, paving; underground utilities and infrastructure including a water tank and pump station; and on-ramps and off-ramps leading to and from the nearby highway.

  • Approximately 250,000 cubic yards of remedial grading
  • More than 1 million cubic yards of mass grading/cut-fill over the 320-acre site in preparation for underground utilities and surface improvements
  • Performed mass excavation for a new water storage reservoir as part of the critical offsite infrastructure improvements for the Lagoon Valley Development in Vacaville
  • Work includes excavation of approximately 45,000 cubic yards for the proposed 135-ft.-diameter buried water storage tank
  • Tank sits in the foothills above Lagoon Valley and will store water for the future 5 phase development, which will include single-family homes, multi-family homes, business and commercial centers, a fire station, new golf course and other improvements
